BrightMinded January 2026 update

We’re excited to share a snapshot of what we’ve been working on at BrightMinded. From launching new platforms for global organisations and independent creators, to stepping away from screens and coming together as a team, the past few months have been a busy and rewarding mix of building, learning and reflecting.

New website, subscriber portal & CRM: check out BJUI’s brand new site

BJUI home page displayed on a laptop on a desk

We are extremely pleased to present our latest subscription platform, built for BJU International (BJUI). For almost 100 years, BJUI’s charitable mission has been to advance urology education through cutting-edge journals, and an accredited elearning platform, all developed and led by expert urologists.

For this project we:

  • combined two existing sites into one
  • designed the website to give it a clean, modern look and feel, within the framework of BJUI’s existing brand
  • created a new information architecture, restructuring the site to make information and resources easier to find
  • improved the integration with the existing Learning Management System via a subscriber portal on the new site
  • provided an integrated CRM, allowing the BJUI team flexible reporting and communication with their subscribers

ReaderVerified is now live

We are pleased to celebrate the launch of ReaderVerified, ideated by J.F. Noone, the author of The Plain Field. ReaderVerified is a platform that helps authors get authentic Amazon-verified reviews.

John came to BrightMinded with a vision for a brand new platform for authors who will benefit from a boost in the Amazon algorithm from verified reviews on their books. The platform works on a credit-based system: after an author reviews a book they receive a credit so their own book can be reviewed.

We created the new platform for John Noone, focussing on the following:

  • streamlined user experience for authors who manage their books, reviews and credits all in one central place
  • minimal administrative workload with automated workflows for membership and credit tracking activities
  • scalability as more authors join, ensuring long-term sustainability
  • increased discoverability on search engines, helping new authors find the platform, and
  • enhanced engagement from members who receive access to exclusive content.

Tech time out

On the 2nd of December 2025, BrightMinded stepped away from screens to celebrate Tech Time Out Tuesday.

We joined workplaces across the UK to take part in Tech time out Tuesday, the UK’s national day dedicated to digital wellbeing.

This year’s theme, Connected Not Consumed: The Power of an Hour, encouraged us to take time and reconnect with ourselves, colleagues, or loved ones.

For our team, it was a chance to pause and focus on meaningful unplugging.

From reading and drawing to working out, walking, cooking, or even going out for breakfast with a neighbour, it was another fantastic morning of connecting with our hobbies, ourselves, and each other.

Have a look at some of our pictures below.

A BrightMinded Christmas

Another year, another BrightMinded Christmas get together. This means lots of great food, laughter and catch-ups between us. During the year we are usually catching up via Google Meet so it is good to see the majority of the team members all in one room and in the flesh.

Here are some snaps from the day:
